Recently I mostly work on memory management - including garbage collection. I'm looking forward to use the new Linux kernel API userfaultfd(2) for the SBCL garbage collector.

I collected some example programs and documentation on cracauer-userfaultfd.html

I advocate use of OpenSource Software, work on the FreeBSD operating system, the CMU implementation of Common Lisp and I'm an active member of the BSD User Group Hamburg. I also publish some software distributions on my own.
